Cree was in need of a quote tool for internal sales representatives and independent agents to manage over 1M possible product configurations and integrate CPQ to SFDC CRM and partner communities leveraging lightning experience.

Solution:

Pierce Washington implemented CPQ that allowed Cree to request and manage program and special pricing, generate proposals, and submit and track orders to ERP.

The solution to enable “smart part number” creation,  CPQ allowed Cree to dynamically build part numbers as non-stock items are configured, which replaced 9 price lists that were manually being processed.

Results:

  • Implemented CPQ in the US in 6 months
  • Onboarded 350 lighting agents through the Partner Portal
  • Replaced manual list processes
